Whitney Gerstner

Whitney is a Hays native and a 2016 graduate of Fort Hays State University. She currently serves as the Marketing and Engagement Specialist at Jana’s Campaign, where she focuses on outreach, communication, and community engagement efforts that advance the organization’s mission.

Whitney is actively involved in the Hays community and serves on the Hays Young Professionals Advisory Council Board through the Hays Chamber of Commerce. She is also a 2021 graduate of Leadership Hays, a program that strengthened her leadership skills and deepened her understanding of community collaboration and civic involvement.

Whitney joined the First Call for Help Board of Directors because she believes every person deserves to feel supported, heard, and safe—especially during their most difficult moments. She is passionate about being part of an organization that responds with compassion and provides critical resources, and she views her service on the Board as a meaningful way to give back to the community she calls home.
