Joslyn Brungardt

Joslyn is a native of Colby, Kansas, and a 1990 graduate of Fort Hays State University. She is the Co-Owner and President of McIntyre Plumbing, Heating & Air, Inc., as well as the Owner of Define Design & Remodel, a company she has led for more than 25 years.

Community involvement has always been a priority for Joslyn. She currently serves as an active Board Member of the Heartland Foundation and has been engaged with the Downtown Hays Development Corporation Board, participated in Heartland Foundation grant selection, and supported organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is especially involved with Women Who Lead, where she serves as Sponsorship Chair, Co-Chair of Women Who Feed, and contributes as a marketing developer.

One of Joslyn’s greatest passions is bringing people together through hospitality to support charitable causes. She hosts nonprofit lunches and dinners in her home through an initiative she founded called Lunch on Lincoln, which has become a meaningful way for her to give back. Both of her companies, along with Joslyn personally, are proud donors to First Call for Help of Ellis County and Feeding Hays, supporting efforts to address food insecurity in the community.

Joslyn is seeking to serve on the Board of Directors for First Call for Help of Ellis County to help support the organization’s growth through strategic development, marketing, and fundraising, and to further its mission of serving those in need throughout Ellis County.
