Backpacks for Kids

Each August the Backpacks For Kids program provides Ellis County children and youth a new backpack filled with school supplies and personal hygiene items. Ellis County students in grades Pre-K thru High School whose families are low-income/financial hardships are eligible. Registration opens May 1st. Our backpack Distribution Day is the first Thursday in August.
